These are terrific pictures! I love them. The boys look so handsome. My chicks are not nearly so tame as yours. Of course they are younger and I have five and not as much free time as the kids do. It will be great when Dad gets up here to help me with the chick holding. He likes little critters so I know he will enjoy it.
A friend at church raises chickens, has fifty, and says that the holding is indeed important. It makes it easier to collect the eggs. Hers all come when she calls to put them away at night. She bribes them with scratch. She says it is pretty funny to see all fifty come running at her call and follow her into the coop!
Wow, you guys and your chickens! It is cool, though. They are growing fast and the boys look so cute. I hope they are all hens, but I know you already have your doubts.
