Law Enforcement came and gave the boys some instruction and went over obeying laws, etc.

The boys trying to figure out the kite flying thing. There wasn't a lot of wind, but there was a lot of running, so I considered it a success.
If your kite won't fly, keep entertained by gargling water...scouts are so resourceful.So the scouting adventure continues. Dylan will earn his Wolf patch once he cooks a meal outdoors and helps his place of worship. Woohoo!

Lisa, I am so glad you have a camera again. I am enjoying your posts and seeing those wonderful boys and their escapades. I love you all so much!
Dylan is getting so grown up! It's so awesome to see him as a boy scout.
I thought the same thing as Michelle, "I can't believe Dylan is a cub scout". He is getting so big. By the way he is who Bristol always mentions to her friends at school if they mention an older sibling or anything. The conversation goes something like this, "Well my cousin Dylan is eight years old, and he is really tall". It is pretty funny.
It is amazing how quickly they grow. Nicole, that is hilarious. We visit teach a family with a little girl named Callie, and whenever I mention how we are going to go over to play with her the boys question which one we are going to see. The best part is that she is a fiery little black girl, who is really thin. They are opposite in looks but the boys always ask, "will Bristol be there too?"

If he wants help cooking something outdoors, that is my favorite. The planting picture reminded me of when I was in the paper for planting a tree at Laurelwood with the Brownies. I also love how the gargling worked out. They are just showing that a scout is always prepared.
Actually Lora he has a bird identifying category and outdoor cooking to do. I keep trying to get Chris to show him how to bbq, but the instruction part is lacking. He needs to plan and fix an out door meal to get his wolf patch he only has 2 things left out of the 80 some odd things he had to finish to get this patch. We're so close!
