Inside the Basilica

This place is HUGE, 5.7 acres, and very ornate. I only had one hour to look around, so I didn't get to see the Sistine chapel or a lot of other things they have in the immense museum here, but I did get to see a few things.

This is the ceiling or the portico.



I really wanted to see the Pieta, which I later found out means "pity".

You are funny, Shell. I edited them on Picasa and lightened a few that way. Picasa also has a button that allows you to upload your pics straight to the blog. You probably know that already:-)
