We took the ferry out to see Liberty Island. Unfortunately we bought a, soon to be discovered, "crouton pretzel" right before going through the long security line to get on the boat. We ended up very hungry by the end of that day, which was a good thing because we ate at a great Spanish/Italian restaurant before going to see Wicked that night.
While out on the island we saw a aircraft carrier pulling into port and a fire boat spraying water all over. We had a great time and you can see more pictures on facebook or on the Nielsen Family Tree Blog.
