This is Dylan on his first day of kindergarten at Guadalupe Elementary School. It was about 98 degrees, so smiling for the picture was an ignored request. He did very well and both mother and son were dry eyed. He has had no anxieties so far; it's like he has been going for ages. So here is hoping for a fun filled year!

The Big Day
This is Dylan on his first day of kindergarten at Guadalupe Elementary School. It was about 98 degrees, so smiling for the picture was an ignored request. He did very well and both mother and son were dry eyed. He has had no anxieties so far; it's like he has been going for ages. So here is hoping for a fun filled year!

I figured he would take to it pretty easily. I was telling Nate yesterday how Dylan has been in school for almost a week. Nate's comment was "did Lisa cry?". I told him that I didn't think that you would. I can't believe he is already in kindergarten.
Next year first grade. I think he is about old enough to be a guinea pig in my reading tests, etc. You know, just for fun.
