Cutting Down the Trees

So, I had a few pictures. Hopefully you don't think it is too many, but I don't have another blog to put them on so too bad!

You know you love them.

Anxious to discover the perfect trees for Christmas. The two head scouts depart into the forest.

The third scout was a little moody at first.

I entitle this picture "Option Number 4". The Nielsens understand.

One of many views.

Me with my tree.

Such a cutie! One tree down and one to go.

There is a lot of light in this picture but so cute of Collin helping to carry the tree for his family. Which he did of his own volition all the way down the hill and to the car.

Now that is a good lookin' tree!

We even got mine on my little car. Thanks Chris!

It was a really beautiful day.

After cutting down the trees in the crisp December mountain air we headed off to town for the traditional holiday Slurpee. What, you've never heard of that tradition?

Ok, so we went for hot chocolate but the boys see 7-11 and think, "Must have Slurpee!"

It gets thumbs up from Dylan.

Those boys are such a kick! I enjoy every minute I get to spend with them. What a wonderful time and such a beautiful world in which we live! I feel like I was there with all of you while reading this post. Dad and I sure do feel blessed to have such great kids and grandkids.

I wish we could have come and joined in. It looks like it was tons of fun. How much did it cost to cut a tree down?

No problem! Check out Dylan's wonky tooth in the first picture. That's a keeper. He informed me today that it finally fell out.
