So several weeks ago we went garage selling (you know shopping at garage sells). We were looking for a kitchen table, but no one is selling furniture. Well instead we picked up the helmet for Kali (which has Dora the Explorer on it, her favorite) and a bike for Bristol for $10. It had training wheels and everything. We moved over her basket and put her streamers on. It is a little worn, but you can't beat $10. She has done really well with learning how to ride. However, I made the mistake a week or so ago and convinced her to go around the block. I was pushing Kali in the stroller and trying to help Bristol at the same time. Well she doesn't really understand the idea of braking yet and we came to a decent hill, instead of braking she decided to pedal. I had to ditch Kali on the sidewalk and run after Bristol, grabbing her right before she crashed into someones light post. Needless to say I scared her and she didn't want to ride her bike again for a while. She has started riding it a little bit lately and is working up her courage again.

Good job girls with your new equipment! You look great! Hope you are having fun. Remember Bristol, it takes practice when you are learning something new, but it is way worth it. You will have a lot of fun riding your bike!
What beauties those girls are! Something I have to tell myself sometimes is not to be scared to do something, especially if I have had a bad experience in the past.
