What baby hates pears??? Mine apparently. He loves carrots and peas however. When I fed him his first taste of sweet pear food this morning I fully expected him to gobble it up like the hoover eater he is. But instead he just shivered at the first couple mouthfuls. I thought he just wasn't used to the sweetness so I tried another bite. He promptly spit it out and made a face like "Why are you torturing me Mom?" So at that point I grabbed the camera to get his funny expression on film. I fed him one last bite and he gagged like he was going to throw up and spit out the pears. I deleted the recording out of fear of being arrested for child endangerment and threw the rest of his pear mush away. What a waste. I guess we'll try apples next to see how that goes.
Yes, we will revisit pears in a couple weeks to see if his tastes have changed.

Pretty funny! Maybe you can hide them in something else. Hopefully he won't be like Bristol and not eat fruit. That is not natural.
he seems to be okay with apples so all is not lost. I wonder if it was the texture of he pears that he didn't like.
Kali wouldn't eat fruit at first either. She preferred her veggies. However, I view this as a good thing because then as they get just a little bit older they will slowly become pickier with the veggies.
